From the moment fans arrived, The Eternal Sunshine Tour felt like much more than a concert — it felt like a love letter to every era, memory, and emotion that Ariana Grande’s music has carried with us through the years. Across the venue, fans were dressed in outfits inspired by every chapter of her discography from the delicate lace and glossy latex of Dangerous Woman, the glamorous 1960s inspired looks of Positions, and the ethereal balletcore aesthetic of Eternal Sunshine. It was a beautiful reminder of how expansive Ariana’s artistry has become and how each era continues to resonate with different people and parts of ourselves.
As soon as we walked through the doors of the Kia Forum in Inglewood, we were greeted by a soft pink glow that filled the arena. The lighting illuminated dreamy visuals from Ariana’s promotional campaigns for REM Beauty and Givenchy, immediately immersing the crowd in the world she had created. By 8 p.m., hearts began to race. A countdown appeared on the screen, each passing minute revealing a track title from her upcoming album, Petal, while every second brought the audience closer to her arrival.
When the clock finally hit zero, the stage came alive with graceful silhouettes moving across the set, sending fans into a frenzy as they tried to guess which figure was Ariana herself. Curtains revealed a stunning set resembling a broken, overgrown house that emerged from the darkness as Ariana opened with “yes, and?” Accompanied by a team of incredible dancers, she established an electric energy from the very first moment. The dreamlike feeling reached its peak during the final performance of “supernatural.” As the last verse built toward its soaring chorus, Ariana slowly ascended above the stage, appearing to float into the sky as if being carried away among the stars. It was a breathtaking visual that perfectly captured the magic of the evening, and a finale that felt worth every second of the ticketing war.
